Very cool space, right across form the Lexington Opera House. Great for before and after shows. Upstairs ballroom features live music occasionally. Don't be surprised by the queen sized bed in the lobby.

Great Space, Uninteresting Menu
The Phoenix did a good design job with the space. The pictures on the walls and the decorum are wonderful. However, the cuisine does not seem to match the atmoshpere. The menu selection lacks the originality and pizazz you expect when entering the restaurant. Not to be misunderstood, all dishes are tastefully prepared, as one would expect. Somehow the menu is missing the flair to complement the surroundings. No menu item keeps you coming back for more- exception, a good wine list.    [30 Apr 2004 16:34:07]
