The Best Restaurant in the Lexington Area Take Two CIA trained owners/Chefs, add a historic farm house, local foodstuffs, and the best wine list in the bluegrass and you have one outstanding restaurant. I have had the pleasure of dining there nearly a dozen times and never once have I been disappointed in the least. A rotating fixed price menu changes monthly to allow the chef to show off her talents, creativity, and the best of local produce. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Make reservations early for any occasion as they tend to go early.
The last time I eat this well I paid over $100 per person in New York. Holly's 3 Course ($35) and 5 Course ($45) menus are the best value anywhere. [17 Nov 2005 12:34:52]

A Bit Disappointed Was ecstatic when I first found this little gem in gorgeous Midway. The facilities are cozy and romantic. However, during my visits this past year, I have found that the food has not been quite as delightful as when I first started going last year. It is still a much better value that any other of the newer establishments in the newly revitalized downtown area of Midway. The wine was good and service, although a bit slow, friendly and knowledgeable.
Plan to stay here for a least two hours as it is for us a whole evening out. [04 Aug 2007 13:49:58]
