Description
Unique cafe and coffeehouse in historic Midway. Railroad Street is lined with unique shops and craft studios.
We offer gourmet presspot coffees in 14 flavors, large selection of hot and iced teas. Salads, sandwiches, soup, pot roast with mashed potatoes, scones and a great dessert menu. Adjoined to Odyssey books and the Thoroughbred Theater. Backroads, a country band plays in the theater on Saturday nights. Historic Midway is surrounded by beautiful horse country and is an eclectic town in which to spend the day!

We had the best time
My husband and I were on I-64 near Lexington Kentucky and were ready for some lunch. We decided to try the Midway exit and found a sweet little town filled with antique shops and this place called Quirk cafe. The inside was really cool, open and bright filled with art and all kinds of coffee stuff and gifts. The menu had lots of different choices. I had a curry chicken sandwich in a pita that had grapes in it. It was delicious. My husband had a really good roast beef sandwich and the bread pudding with the bourbon sauce was incredible. The best part was the coffee...they had so many flavors and they brought it to us in a french press pot. We hadn't seen one of those before but the coffee was so good..we got the Highlander Grog.It was just the coolest cafe.
Then, we ended walking around the town and shopping. Our whole afternoon was a great suprise. [25 Sep 2005 20:02:40]

MIdway's Best!
The food is prepared when ordered and is always. Just Great Chicken Salad in a pita pocket with a side of fresh fruit is my favorite. This is the place for Southern Iced Tea! [29 Sep 2005 09:11:59]

Great for the Family
My kids and I like Quirk very much. It is a beautiful drive out from Versailles to visit this lovely cafe, especially when we have company in town. The mood, service, food and location are all fantastic. Little pots of tea and coffee in all the great flavors make the meal special. [15 Apr 2007 06:26:24]
