No longer Mulates

Wonderful experience
A wonderful cajun dining experience. Boutin's food and atmosphere puts Mulates to shame. The restaurant is the prettiest and cleanest cajun restaurant we have ever eaten at. Very talented band!!! We will be back time and time again. Thanks Mr. Lynn for your hospitality. [28 Feb 2005 18:42:16]

Where locals bring visitors...
Boutin's (pronounced 'Boo Tans') is a great restaurant. This is where we bring visitors from out of town to experience Cajun and Creole food. The food/flavors are authentic, and there is usually a live band playing cajun/zydeco music. If you are coming to Baton Rouge for a visit, this is the place to go for true cajun food. Not nearly what you pay for
One of the seafood items listed as an entree was not available, but they would not substitute another of our choices without charging a lot more. I called to speak to management. They never returned my call. I will not eat here again. Seafood platter had ONE piece of fish. Come on! [07 May 2007 17:50:01]
