A fabulous selection of the finest french pastries in town! Also deli serving soups, sandwiches, rotisserie chicken and salad bar. La Madeleine's is a french bakery chain with locations in 10 cities. There is also a location inside the Mall of Louisiana right below the Food Court.

Dinner entrees
I knew la Madeleine could compete with the best-made French pastries, but I did not know they had such delectable dinner entrees. I ordered the Beef Encroute (tasty sirloin steak wrapped in a flaky pastry dough) that came with a rich and wonderful burgundy sauce, potatoes maison and steamed vegetables.

I'll still get my coffee and pastries in the morning, but now I know I can go back for dinner too. It was great!    [03 Dec 2000 19:54:44]
