Description

Located in South Baton Rouge, between Parkview Baptist Church and the new Woodlawn Highschool. They have a huge menu with seafood, steaks, pasta, burgers, poboys, salads, combos, and family meal deals. They have both a non-smoking and smoking section, as well as a bar in the back--but the bar cannot be seen (or heard) from the front dining room. Prices are extremely reasonable especially since they serve huge portions of all their homemade dishes.

Valentine's day special
I was very disappointed for the following reasons:

1. The steak was tough and smaller than advertised.
2. The bread pudding dessert was almost burnt tasting.
3. I felt rushed by the waitress

Response to Valentine's day special
As soon as we were made aware of Mr. Bruce's complaints, we immediately corrected the situation and took care of him and his guest on a return visit, at which time he told us that everything was good.

Sunday Brunch Great
We ate there for a Sunday Brunch and got the seafood omelette, seafood crepes and french toast. The french toast was awesome as were the seafood entrees. This place even had a saxophone player that was really quite good. Their chocolate liqueur drinks are great too!    [25 Feb 2007 20:11:14]

FOOD POISONING
MY SISTER HAD A GRADUATION DINNER HERE, WHICH TURNED INTO A DISASTER. 5 OUT OF THE 16 PEOPLE THAT WERE THERE GOT FOOD POISONING. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL THE RESTAURANT, I GOT VERY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.
