Known for it's efficient service and quality tex-mex eats, Superior is working it's way into the restaurant "establishment" of Baton Rouge. Superior Grill is a smaller restaurant chain, with locations in New Orleans, Shreveport, and Birmingham. (The Shreveport location, a steakhouse, is a different menu and atmosphere.) Superior Grill in Baton Rouge opened on January 31, 1991. For over 13 years, Superior has been open seven days a week. The restaurant has over 70 menu items and 36 tables, and a happy hour every day (from 4:30pm - 6:30pm) Their famous happy hour special features 2 for 1 margaritas made from freshly squeezed limes. They also feature live music on Thursday through Saturday from 6:30pm - 10pm.
