Description

For burrito lovers, Baton Rouge used to be a tough town to live in. Luckily, over the last few years, a handful of options have arrived on the scene. Zippy's is one them, and has one of the better atmospheres. If you're in too big a hurry to get to one of the bars under the overpass, it used to be easily confused for a gas station or Quickee Mart, but Zippy's has taken over the space well, making the front concrete into an area for outdoor dining. Food is ordered in buffet line fashion, but made to order, typically while you watch.

Disappointing
We went to Zippys with an Entertainment book coupon for "buy one menu item get one free." We were charged half for the second item and told that the coupon was "printed wrong" and was supposed to be buy one get one half off. Miraculously, we stayed, only to find the food mediocre.    [07 Apr 2006 22:27:29]
