My LAST THREE experiences eating at Copeland's Restaurant The ONLY consistant good thing at any of the Copeland's is great service. IT IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE whether you go Uptown, Metairie or Jefferson! They have allowed their restaurants to become filthy from the floors, tables, chairs, utinsels, glassware, walls, fixtures, etc.! When given 2 forks I could not decide which was less dirty. It's not the spice (I was born in New Orleans) but the fact that everything tastes the same - salty seasoning. The steaks are full of fat. Eggs Benedict comes with egg shells. Vegetables 2 ot of 3 times had a rubberband in it. It is overpriced for the quality of food or portions. I will not make this mistake again. What a disappointment even with a Christmas gift certificate. New Orleans has too many other wonderful restaurants! [06 Jan 2004 17:55:43]

Amen to that! I couldn't agree more.
The food COULD be good, if they would season the food, not engulf it with the seasoning.
If cleanliness is next to Godliness, these guys are in restaurant HELL.
I used to work in the pest control business and I tend to notice the "little" housekeeping items that provide food and cover for the critters... [12 Aug 2005 20:15:12]
