Description

Part of a small chain in the New Orleans Metro area. The restaurant is small, the sushi bar seats about 30, atmosphere is friendly and casual. Karaoke on weekend nights. Two people can have dinner for about $30 - $40.

The sushi is excellent, very fresh and the rice is the best in town. The tempura is also very good. One fun appetizer is "Godzilla steak" which is actually ostrich. The service is prompt and friendly, and they are happy to answer any and all questions about the food and how to eat it. Chopsticks are standard, but cutlery is available on request. Reservations are not necessary, but the restaurant is packed at lunchtime; it's best to come early or late.    [04 Dec 1999 00:52:50]
