Great New Orleans tradition
They have the best meatball po-boys I've ever had! And their pizzas are worth driving to get. Don't miss the Italian salad to start. Really, everything is good at R & O's. You can't go wrong.    [29 Jul 2006 18:24:14]

If you are in Metairie or New Orleans, you have to eats at R and O's
I have been going to R and O's for 20 years. I highly recommend the fried catfish, meatball, and veal parmigiana po-boys. Also, the seafood gumbo is delicious, but spicy! Try it before adding Tabasco. You can't go wrong.

The pizza and Italian salads are also delicious.

It is reasonably priced, with an open atmosphere that is great for families with kids, especially since there is no smoking allowed. Allow 30 minutes or longer for wait. But the wait is worth it.    [04 Mar 2007 16:56:26]

Real New Orleans
Great food, but come early or late. The wait can be long. The is a neighborhood place with few frills. Don't stray from the fried foods, Italian dishes, or the pizza and you will be fine.    [21 Mar 2008 16:54:03]
