Generic Reliable Sushi Mr. Sushi does not sound like a place where you would find sushi to provide you with a profound culinary experience. Not surprisingly, it does not.
While non-sushi courses were rather large, the sushi portions were pretty skimpy. It was also the first sushi place that I visited that did not offer free Miso soup for people ordering sushi. Small portions and prices worthy of sushi restaurants of higher quality therefore dampened my enjoyment.
Still, the sushi itself was not bad. The fish were fresh and the preparation was well done.
If you are too lazy to venture out of Arlington for sushi, Mr. Sushi can be a choice. [03 Feb 2003 12:03:58]

Always Fresh Fish In case you didn't know, Sushi isn't supposed to STUFF your belly but it is a delicate and beautiful presentation of fresh fishes that tickle your taste buds. If you want large portions, maybe go get some BBQ instead or order extra rolls. By no means is their sushi portion skimpy; it seemed just right.
Sushi at Mr. Sushi is always fresh and very tasty. Their noodle soups, Katsudons, appetizers and Korean dishes such as Hoi Dup Bap are most excellent. Those of you who love spicy food/sashimi fish should definitely try the Hoi Dup Bap the next time you are there. You'll be pleasantly surprised. :-) Happy Sushi! [11 Jan 2004 17:39:33]

simply good I have been to Mr Sushi about 3 times a month for the past 6 months and have yet to be disappointed. No wait, prompt service, fresh fish; it's a hidden gem of a place to enjoy a great meal. The atmosphere is a little plain and it is quiet (makes romance hard) but the food makes up for it.
