The Best Chinese Food in the Area I've been to *all* of the Chinese restaurants in the area. The Great Wall is consistently the best. All of the main courses are well prepared and tasty. They will vary spiciness to suit your taste. There is Mandarin dim-sum on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Only thing they just can't seem to do right is Hot and Sour soup. I usually judge a place by the H&S soup, but that test isn't accurate in this case. [13 Oct 2000 17:30:03]

Worth the Drive Fabulous Chinese food in a wonderful atmosphere. The luncheon buffet is popular and worthwhile.
Very fresh food, not overdone, with courteous service that makes this one of the best Chinese restaurants in the US. [10 Oct 2001 15:21:33]

Never knew Chinese food could taste like this I never knew how amazing Chinese food was until I came to this restaurant. Lots of great selections, everything delicious. They even have a "light side" menu for those who cannot indulge. [21 Mar 2003 20:03:09]

Was a Fan, but... I was a huge fan of this restaurant and went there once a week or so. Most of the dishes were excellent, they have a good buffet and dim sum (Mandarin style) on the weekend afternoons.
But the beef dishes are terrible. I tried several and wound up with one that was inedible. I talk to the management and even reminded them on my next order and it was still terrible. The family demanded we stop going there.
BTW: Terrible Hot and Sour soup. [06 Dec 2003 13:42:20]

Hit or Miss My family has been going to the Great Wall religiously since it opened over 10 years ago. Used to be the best in the area, but the past few years the quality of the food has gone downhill. Takeout is usually warm when it arrives for pick up and extra-greasy.
The service and atmonsphere is wonderful, but lately the food is mediocre. It's definitely a hit or miss, although the buffet's not bad. [12 Feb 2004 10:43:29]
