Awesome Chicken Parm I love their Chicken Parmesan. It is some of the greatest food anyone has ever tasted. [03 Jun 2002 14:36:25]

Disappointed After reading the great reviews here, my husband and I went to Livingtones for our 20th anniversary. The power went out right after we were served our salads and from that point on the waitresses were annoyed and let it show. We were served our entrées in the dark and then rushed out of the restaurant. We were served our check practically with our entrée. The management made no apologies to the diners and have not answered a written complaint I sent them. It's hard to comment on the food when I could barely see it and was rushed through dinner. Very Pleased My husband and I have eaten at Livingstone's often and have been extremely pleased on each occasion. If you leave Livingstone's hungry, something is wrong with you. The entrées are delicious and the service is great.
The entertainment in the lounge is exceptional and you can tell it's a place where all the "regulars" hang out but also welcome newcomers. [19 May 2003 08:58:19]

Great Service Great, great service. Had this waitress named Jennifer, who was not only very beautiful, but extremely efficient at her job. The Chicken Parmesan is to die for. Keep up the good work. [11 Nov 2003 15:20:10]

Truly First Rate We've dined in restaurants throughout the world, from Tour d'Argent in Paris to the Turtle Creek in Dallas, and our experience at Livingstone's was among the better. First, the kitchen was very accommodating - the menu offerings included chicken Marsala and veal Parmigiana; my preference for veal Marsala was accommodated without hesitation - and it was the best version of the dish I've ever enjoyed. One of the hallmarks of an excellent restaurant is the kitchen's ability to accommodate any meal request provided they have the ingredients - kudos to the chef!
Our server had a tart sense of humor (this is perhaps not a place for those who crave white-glove deferential service) and performed her job in a timely and efficient manner; other staff pitched in as necessary to ensure that we had everything we needed when we needed it. The atmosphere is very welcoming - I was wearing a sweatshirt that evening and was made to feel as valued as if I were wearing a suit and tie (as some people were). In sum, Livingstone's is a rare find and I can recommend it enthusiastically and wholeheartedly. [23 Dec 2003 13:18:40]

Great Service My husband and I have been going to Livingstone's for years. Now that we don't live in Billerica, we don't get there as frequently and miss it. What is lacking in "ambiance" ( I often find it loud), it makes up for in food and service. And always reasonably priced. [13 Jan 2005 19:48:28]

Don't Bother We heard a lot about this place and were given a gift certificate, so we tried it. I have no idea what the hoopla is about. It was so noisy I couldn't even hear across our table; the food was good, but ordinary. There were huge portions though. Prices are OK. Service was OK. Will not go again [05 Sep 2005 17:03:24]

Don't Bother Is Right Average food, average service, high prices for the average food. I swear their mac n' cheese was Kraft. Also kinda dirty. [28 Jun 2006 10:24:21]
