Ruined My Vacation
I took my girlfriend to 75 Chestnut for a date on our last night in Boston, and I have never been treated more rudely at any restaurant. The place is tucked away in the flat of Beacon Hill, and offers a nice menu (mainly seafood) in a refined but sterile dining room. The food is very expensive, and it might have been worth going had the owner not repeatedly abused us. At first I thought it was a joke, but the joke was on me, because I'd spent $200 on dinner and the meal we'd been looking forward to turned out to cast an ugly shadow over our entire vacation. I'm still upset about it. I hope this place goes out of business. Don't spend your money here.    [10 Jun 2002 23:59:07]

Very Romantic
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at 75 Chestnut. The atmosphere, food, and wait staff were all exceptional. At the end of the night my boyfriend proposed to me. The entire experience was worth every penny.    [20 Jan 2004 19:32:29]
