Always has been an enjoyable experience and after being away from the area for 15 years it was a pleasure to find this establishment still in business and as great as I remember !!! [28 Jun 2003 23:11:06]

We Love the Place My wife and I eat frequently at Anthony's. Because we eat early, we usually get a table right by the water. But most important of all, we like the entrees. We also like the Glover salad. [04 Feb 2004 20:46:13]

Will Never Go Again First time visit, invited by friends.
For starter, the wine menu doesn't even list wine-by-glass. Until you ask the waiter, he'd then ask you "red or white", and "merlot or shiraz". Not trying to be snobbish, but if the entree is between $20-$40, I'd at least like to know what I'm drinking. The good thing is, it does offer a good amount of half bottles.
The food was ok, definitely not out of this world good. Maybe I didn't research enough before going, but my dish was generally unremarkable. The menu was decent in terms of variety.
The atmosphere was great since it has a nice view to the harbour. However, the lighting was rather dim. It's so dim that I couldn't see my food. It has its own parking lot, so that's a big plus.
For the money, the service was laughable. Waiters are not attentive (many empty glasses of water, not stopping by frequent enough for a decent size table, patrons often have to ask for things instead of being offered, etc).
Overall, you'd probably have a much better experience at the Legal than AP4. [07 Sep 2006 01:24:44]

Time to Close Very poor service and food. Went twice - giving them a second chance. Second chance was worse than first. [12 Sep 2006 19:19:38]

This Place Sucks Went for a graduation celebration.
The food was terrible and the service was weird, found the whole thing strange, the ethnic bussers in tuxedos..it all felt a little too old worldy.
Not to mention the decor was not really what we expected. We all heard really great things about this place before we went. We were defiantly underwhelmed.
The worst thing was the creme brulee it came to the table more like scrambled eggs. It was horrifying. I would never never never go back! [14 May 2007 16:36:07]

Food was very good, but service was terrible. Waiters and bus service personnel were rude and almost seemed like they were trying to get everyone to leave. With the high cost of Anthony's meals, this was not expected and by anyone's standards is unacceptable. Go elsewhere. [09 Jul 2008 17:07:22]

Please Do Not Go to Anthony's Despite the lousy service and the stuck up people at the entrance checking your name off, I kept going to this restaurant because of the good food. But, my last experience was the end of it. The server was not only lousy, unprofessional, and rude, but he had no idea whatsoever about certain allergies. What is more, when we mentioned him about a particular allergy, he did not even say anything. He just said "It should be ok," giving the impression that he knew what we were talking about. After dinner, when he brought the desert menu, we inquired about a specific desert for the allergy purposes. Guess what he said: "What exactly is that allergy? What can you not have?" Give me a break. At the end of the dinner you are asking me what the allergy is? This place is lucky that nothing happened. If something had happened, I would have sued them until their last penny and put them out of business.
The owners think that they have class or something, without realizing that putting on a decent suit does not give you personality or class. Rude, unprofessional, terrible service. Somebody should put these people in their place. And I think the best way to do it is just not going there. Please do not go to this place and spend your money. Boston has so many other places where you can get better food and service. I am done with this place. I will never go there, and I will tell everyone I know to stay away. [03 Aug 2009 16:20:59]
