Service Is Horrible I went to this so called restaurant (which really is a dump that looks as though it hasnt been cleaned in ages) and ordered a grilled cheese. Not only was it a 4 dollar grilled cheese, which I think is way over-priced, but when I got it the sandwich wasn't buttered, just on dry bread and they used mozzarella cheese instead of American.
Normally some people wouldn't mind that, but I don't like that kind of cheese. I asked him if there was any way I could get another one with American, because on the menu it didn't state that it came with mozzarella, and his reply was, "That is the way we make it." My boyfriend then asked if we could swap it for something else and he replied a flat no. I have never had such poor service, and my boyfriend said his sandwich wasnt even good anyways. I do not recommend this dump at all. [04 Feb 2005 21:58:35]

The Food is So Worth It Cafe Podima is a favored lunch place of mine and of many of my past and present coworkers. They deliver and the sandwiches are excellent. They are not a place to go to to sit down and enjoy a quiet high class meal. It's a deli! I recommend either takeout or delivery. Try the grilled chicken on foccacia. It's huge and excellent. Best Sandwich in town I had Sandwich and Soup combo. Best I ever had. Good quality ham and fresh veggie. The Italian Wedding soup was heavenly. [15 Oct 2006 00:52:06]

Plan on eating anytime soon??? Don't order delivery from Podima's ...
Our office has ordered from them more often than necessary, because they're the cheapest option, because they're one of the few places we can find to deliver ... but it's not worth the wait.
Almost every time we've ordered from there for delivery, it has taken at least an hour to get here. They're about a 5 minute drive away. And I understand that they have other deliveries to take care of, but an hour and a half or 2 hours to get food? Outta control.
One time the VP of the company ordered food, forgot all about it until 3 hours later he remembered he hadn't eaten lunch. At that point he had to go and never bothered calling Podima's to complain or ask what happened. Podima's never came.
Today it took an hour and a half for them to get here and the food was cold.
While the food is pretty good, it's not worth the wait... Podima's is just unecessary. The End. [11 Jan 2007 13:35:03]
