Do Not Go Here As a Chinese, I enjoy eating in Chinatown for its tasty authentic food. I soon became a frequent at Peach Farm Seafood because their food seemed tastier than other restaurants in the area. When my parents came up to visit me, I decided to bring them there for some good eats Monday during the lunch hour. My hopes were high that my parents would soon be eating some tasty Chinese dishes that they hadn't had in awhile. Unfortunately, the meal started out on the wrong foot when the waiter brought out our tea. It looked a little watery at first, so I thought it would be a good idea to let it brew some more. But 5 minutes later, it still tasted like hot water so I looked inside the pot and to my astonishment, there were no tea leaves!
When my mother politely requested a new pot, the waiter rudely said that if we were frequent customers then we would get better tea. My mom then told him that I had come often before with my friends. The waiter then brushed her off by saying that they had used tea bags as they normally do for any guest. I was amazed at his lack of shame. This was the fourth time I had gone to the restaurant and they always use leaves to brew the tea. Not only had he lied to us, but just how hard would it have been to make us a new pot?
We didn't want to make a big deal out of this even though he had lied, so we proceeded to order some dishes that I recommended from previous visits. When our dishes finally arrived, I regretted not leaving the restaurant after the incident with the tea. The cooks had used string green beans that were easily 2 weeks old to cook our dish. The beans were so tough that I could barely eat them and they tasted horrible!
None of the other dishes tasted good - they were all greasy and flavorless. I could have easily cooked lunch for my parents and it would have been quite tasty, especially compared to this.
Not only did the waiter mistreat us by serving us hot water instead of tea, but we also paid a pricey sum for food that tasted terrible.
I am definitely never going to Peach Farm again. This restaurant has no shame for their ill manners and the way that they treat their guests. [22 Jul 2003 15:39:44]

Agenda The Peach Farm is a great place, and I would take that review with a grain of salt. There appears to be an agenda at work. [03 Nov 2003 18:11:15]

Peach Farm Is Great I suppose any place can have an off day, but I don't understand the above review at all. Peach Farm is always good from the luncheon specials to the seafood dishes. In fact, it is the only place in Chinatown where I would order a special because it is so tasty and good. The staff was always super friendly and accomodating. [08 Jul 2005 15:32:47]

Chinese Food at its best Every time I have gone to Peach Farm I have been pleasantly surprised with a wonderful new dish. Their seafood is consistently fresh and their seasoning is perfect. They never over cook vegetables and I have never had a greasy dish. I am amazed at how tender they can make beef and pork. My one suggestion to anyone is to always try something new. I have never been disappointed! [27 Apr 2006 16:06:47]
