Outstanding I had lobster, boy did I have lobster, a 5 pounder. I can't even begin to explain how good. They steamed it fresh from the tank. What a treat. This place is spotless. The ambiance is unique, everything is so fresh. [10 May 2003 08:36:10]

Good Food- for a Cafeteria The seafood here is top-notch. If you like fried, that's great also here. Cleanliness is excellent. The only problem I have with the Lobster Pot is the atmosphere. The dining is cafeteria style. Not a sit-down dinner. Utensils are all plastic. Dinner is picked up on a plastic tray, although the price is the same or even more expensive than a full-service sit-down dinner at other local restaurants. [28 Jul 2004 11:50:51]

The critic.
While the seafood is of excellent quality and the restaurant impeccably neat, the chowder was not my favorite. The consistency was soupy and the flavor lacking. [08 Mar 2006 16:07:18]

Best Seafood I Have Ever Tasted The seafood is the most fresh I have ever tasted. The chowder is rich and delicious and I can't help but now compare all other chowders to this one. The lobster was so sweet and I got to pick it out from a huge tank full of different sizes. After eating here, I can hardly tolerate what other restaurants call "seafood". [20 Apr 2007 12:10:46]

No Need to Cross the Canal Fried clams, onion rings, french fries all excellent. Can't wait to go again! Definitely a hit. [14 Apr 2008 15:08:09]
