So perfect, I long for it all the way from Seattle
1369 is the perfect place to meet up with friends, sit and read a book, watch people and time go buy, sip a cup of coffee or have a bite to eat. One cannot say enough about the vibe of this coffee house. Great atmosphere, good coffee and stellar service. Not so friendly recently...
The indie vibe, energy, and art are all that you'd want in a cafe.

I used to like the whole package, but recently, for the last couple of months before 10/2005, I've been badgered and bugged to buy more or leave quickly.

I understand that hangers-on can put a cramp on the bottom line, but badgering on top of acidic coffee and expensive Internet access has made me look elsewhere. If people are staying past a reasonable time, fine, do something, but doing it in in a grumpy rude way isn't getting my repeat business.    [21 Oct 2005 18:52:13]

Fussy about germs? Or legality?
It's a VERY dog-friendly place, I've found. On one occasion somebody's little pooch was allowed to run up and down a counter where food is served. I've also seen a dog urinating in a corner. You needn't bother telling the help. They've told me they don't see any problem.    [06 Apr 2007 20:25:10]
