So perfect, I long for it all the way from Seattle 1369 is the perfect place to meet up with friends, sit and read a book, watch people and time go buy, sip a cup of coffee or have a bite to eat. One cannot say enough about the vibe of this coffee house. Great atmosphere, good coffee and stellar service. The best part, none of the snootiness of a West Coast coffeehouse. [24 Jan 2002 19:19:27]

Not so friendly recently... The indie vibe, energy, and art are all that you'd want in a cafe.
I used to like the whole package, but recently, for the last couple of months before 10/2005, I've been badgered and bugged to buy more or leave quickly.
I understand that hangers-on can put a cramp on the bottom line, but badgering on top of acidic coffee and expensive Internet access has made me look elsewhere. If people are staying past a reasonable time, fine, do something, but doing it in in a grumpy rude way isn't getting my repeat business. [21 Oct 2005 18:52:13]

Fussy about germs? Or legality? It's a VERY dog-friendly place, I've found. On one occasion somebody's little pooch was allowed to run up and down a counter where food is served. I've also seen a dog urinating in a corner. You needn't bother telling the help. They've told me they don't see any problem. [06 Apr 2007 20:25:10]
