Good Stuff I've never actually been in Cafe Kiraz, but they deliver lunch in my area, so they're a godsend in times of tight deadlines or bad weather! Their food is mainly Mediterranean/Middle-Eastern fare, and they do it quite well. I usually fall back to the falafel and hummus wrap (which is enough for two or three meals), but I tried the grilled peach, plum and gorgonzola salad yesterday with the balsamic vinaigrette, and it was yummy. The grilled fruit wasn't as succulent as it would have been if either fruit were in season right now (it's January), but it was still very tasty. Definitely better than what I usually expect from this kind of restaurant...they really seem to have a passion for good food. [06 Jan 2005 11:12:20]

Favorite sandwiches My wife and I have been ordering delivery and take out for a couple of years. Overall excellent sandwiches and salads - we are loyal customers. We also sometimes stop by on summer weekends and eat there - it easily beats the sub shops. [06 Jul 2005 13:53:17]

Yumminess I order take-out all the time when I'm writing papers and it's nice to have a place that will deliver a doppio and a wrap to your dorm. They aren't open very late, but the food is really tasty and their coffee (especially the espresso) is surprisingly good! [15 Jan 2006 23:44:58]

Fro Yo! Great pizzas and wraps - huge menu, huge portions. Be sure to save room for the frozen yogurt - there are over 30 tasty flavors to mix in. [17 Jul 2006 21:59:41]

Still good All these reviews are old, but the place is still good. I don't think of it as Mediterranean as much as a great sandwich shop. Don't forget to get some frozen yogurt at the yogurt drill.
Good atmosphere, but that's not what you go for; especially since there isn't too much seating inside and no tables for large groups. (Consider grabbing a sandwich and taking it to one of the nearby parks.) Very busy at lunch time; expect a wait between noon and 1pm. [19 Jul 2006 13:18:34]
