Hidden Gem?
Boston's by the Viaduct is a beautifully built restaurant and function hall. I have been several times since they have opened. I was very disappointed with the crab cakes appetizer. Basically, a $9 bread crumb and filling appetizer - almost no crab taste and absolutely no crab to be seen! Too bad that the management does not have the same vision it had when it built this new restaurant. Beautiful layout, dishes and presentations are contemporary but I am afraid the food is same old boring New England fare. The public wants better - will pay for the real thing - don't have to try and fake it - we are all too smart for that.    [09 Jun 2007 09:13:58]

Second Chance
Well, recently a group of friends and I went back to try Bostons for a second time. As with all restaurants when they first open, it was a bit of mayhem to say the least, so needless to say we tried again and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and relaxed, the food was great, and the atmosphere was excellent. We had such a great time we stayed there for many an hour.
