No Box
My wife and I went there prior to a bike trip. I must have been naive to take the name literally: all the sandwiches were handed to us in a bag--there was no box.

The sandwiches were very small. $5.95 for a few pieces of meat and lettuce. A bag of chips for $1.25 completed the meal. Next time we'll bring our own.    [31 Jul 2002 21:41:28]

Delicious
I used to work at The Box Lunch a few years ago and became addicted to their sandwiches then. They have creative ingredient combinations and delicious cold drinks and chips to complement your choice of sandwich. For how busy it can get, the service is incredibly efficient and will turn you back out to the beach in no time. Though I grew up on-Cape, I have since moved, and every time I come home to visit, the Box Lunch is one of my first stops.    [07 May 2004 19:26:10]

Count Your Change
While visiting friends and family that live on the Cape, we stopped in. My 11-year-old paid with a twenty I gave him, but received change for a ten. When we asked the cashier and the owner about it, they not only did not care but had a real attitude. Anybody that cheats a kid will not get my business again.    [25 Aug 2006 01:59:26]
