Very Good
The Eastham Lobster Pool, is one of the oldest family owned places on Cape Cod to date. The food is very very good, especially the lobster pasta special. The service is very good and the staff is very friendly.    [04 Sep 2003 22:17:42]

Ate at the Lobster Pool tonight with six folks. Five of us ordered lobsters. The corn that they served with the lobster was obviously kept in water much too long and tasteless. I had a 2 1/2 pound lobster which was overcooked/tough, and they gave us all plastic lobster picks - the type of thing bars use to hold olives in drinks. I asked for a metal pick. They said that too many were stolen or thrown away so now they just use the plastic ones. Frankly, that's disgusting when you're paying over $30 for a lobster. The owner/cook couldn't care less. I say skip them. Maybe they were good at some point, but they're over the hill now.    [17 Jul 2004 22:36:51]

Horrible
I have been going there for 30-40 years and always loved it. It was sold this spring. New owners have severely restricted the menu compared to past years - a disappointment.

A well-intentioned but bad server got our orders wrong, so different people ate at different times and we watched each other eat.

The last person to get their dinner found a large worm in their fish.

Wonderful Food, Service and Atmosphere
Loved the Lobster Pool. Food was great - had Mahi Mahi (cooked perfectly - service friendly, and the atmosphere all you could want for a seafood restaurant on the Cape. Hope to be back often. Hope the outdoors is eventually covered for great outdoor dining.    [17 Jul 2007 20:10:40]
