Great Food, but Too Noisy The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. The noise level, however, was unbearable on the two occasions that I ate there. I was unable to hear the person sitting right beside me much less anyone on the other side of the table. [09 Aug 2002 20:26:13]

Not Too Bad The food was great and the restaurant had a nice, romantic atmosphere, but I left hungry. In other words, the proportions were too small for the price that was paid. [11 Aug 2003 10:19:05]

Best on South Shore True, it is a little noisy, but service is great and food is better. Been there twenty plus times and never had a meal I didn't like--by far my favorite on South Shore. [21 Jan 2004 16:23:31]

My Favorite Restaurant I'm replying only because I was amazed that person said they left hungry. I leave stuffed with leftovers. I get the same thing every time: caesar salad, the steak with garlic mashed and asparagus and usually dessert with a bottle of wine. So maybe not everyone gets every course like me (ha!) but the portions are healthy. Last time, we were there it took forever to get the bread and our drink orders taken, but he made up for it. It was my birthday and the pastry chef piped happy birthday on my dessert plate.
Beware of table 30. They attempt to seat me there each time I go. Perhaps it is because I am in my 20s and they think that we will order water and salad, or we look nice and won't complain--I am not sure. If you find yourself heading towards a 4-top round (even if there's just two of you) surrounded by the two paths to the kitchen--just say no--or you will not enjoy your meal. To add insult to injury the table was wobbly when we had to sit there. (Harumph!) [01 Feb 2005 12:23:04]
