Description
Montecristo is a family-run El Salvadoran/Mexican restaurant, and as the name implies, features tacos, papusas, burritos, quesadillas, and other "quick" (but not fast) dishes from Mexico and El Salvador, plus a variety of larger platters, which often intermingle the cuisine of both countries.
Diners have a choice of about five different egg breakfasts, including the well known Mexican huevos rancheros and guevos with chorizo sausage. All breakfasts are served with refried beans, avocado, El Salvadoran table cream, queso fresco (a soft, white, fresh cheese), and fried sweet plantain.
The beverage list consists of Mexican and American sodas, homemade milkshakes, horchata (a sweet rice drink), cashew and mango juices, water, coffee, and a hot corn drink known as atol de elote.

I Tried the Food, and I Am Hooked Yeah, I tried a few of the dishes at this restaurant, and I am hooked, practically.
The waiters are very friendly; the whole place is spanking clean all the time.
I would recommend this place for any meal. I will offer a tip: try the atol de elote with your meal, or the jugo de maraƱon (cashew juice). [31 Mar 2006 00:11:20]

Best Tacos in Lynn And they deliver! Try the pork tacos (the pork is spicy and wonderful). Ask for cheese, avocado, and sour cream on the taco and they are little pieces of heaven. [16 Feb 2007 13:01:37]

Best Mexican Food Highly recommended! Not many people know about this little secret. Usually only the locals go here. But the food is so authentic and cheap. Homemade. The gordidas, tacos, and tostadas are great. I love them! I'm hooked and often drive 45mins to Lynn to eat there. [12 Jul 2007 20:55:01]
