Wonderful Experience
Really good food - the presentations are as good as any of those in Boston. The wait staff could not be more helpful and pleasant. Add the view on a summers evening and you can't beat the whole experience.    [17 Nov 2005 07:53:33]

The evening dining at Alicante's celebrating an anniversary was one of perfection from beginning to end. We want to thank Heather, Tim and Daren for the excellent service and caring for making the evening special for all of us. An Exquisite Experience

Finally an Excellent Restaurant in this Area
Bravo! It is so wonderful to have an restaurant of such quality so nearby. The food is exquisite. The service is impeccable...the staff courteously caters to your every need. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Just a fantastic dining experience altogether! I have already recommended it coworkers and friends and they have made the same remarks. Not Impressed
I had heard such great things about this restaurant, so my husband gave me a Gift Certificate. I must say, however, that I would never go back. The fried calamari was average. I've certainly had better, and at a lower price as well. The broccoli/lobster bisque was watery and stingy on the broccoli and lobster. The best part of the soup were the croutons on top but for some reason, they only gave you four, which looked lost floating on the large bowl of soup. The main course that I ordered was a seafood medley in a watery garlic white wine sauce over rigatoni. I think they used jarred garlic. Very bland...nursing home food. My husbands take arrived cool so it probably wasn't delivered hot off the grill, and the side dishes were average.

I had expected a wow experience, but instead was very disappointing. I understand that the wait is often over an hour to get a table. I can't imagine why anyone would wait an hour to get bland, overpriced food.

Superb
We had an extremely diverse group, including 1 vegetarian. From seafood, beef, to lamb...everyone in our party rated the food superb.

Totally Superb - The Very Best of MetroWest
Our new favorite restaurant by far. This place has it all... except maybe enough parking! Absolutely superb, different and exciting dishes with remarkably good service. Great ambiance, especially with a window seat overlooking the lake at night. It is not cheap, but we found it worth every penny. It's now our "go to" place for all special occasions.
