Depends on the Day
We had tried this several times because we had been given gift certificates. They've got the right "formula" but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Some of the food is good, but a lot isn't. However, they come around and offer, at no additional charge, popovers, which are good, fritters which are outstanding, etc.

Each time we went though we didn't like it - part of the problem is they have a lot of functions going on and I think that's where their attention lies. However, the last time we went, we went on a Sunday mid-afternoon, and had a really pleasant meal. So I guess that's the trick. My in-laws, who love it, go during the day, during the week, so their experience has always been good. But I would not recommend on the weekend through Sunday lunch - go off schedule.    [05 Sep 2005 17:09:52]

No Service at Angelica's

Arrived and seated, with menus, at 5:30pm. At 5:40, server brought "hot pop-overs." Server observed that we had not received a visit from "our" server and did not have any water or butter for the pop-overs.

Over the next 20 minutes, different servers brought chicken wings, spinach squares and raspberry dough balls. All four servers were made aware that we had not been set-up properly.

At 6:00pm, after totally being ignored by the assigned server for our table, we got up and left without eating.

We stopped at the main station at the entrance and complained about the lack of service. The woman gave the impression to us that she couldn't care less.
