Three-course fixed price menus are available Sun.-Thu. at dinner and Mon.-Fri. at lunch. Five-glass wine tasting flights are available at dinner from Sun.-Tue.

At Last
This location has been plauged by a constant stream of failed restaurants, now finaly this end of Newtonville has somthing to be proud of. Ariadne is a cozy restaurant with soft lighting and friendly service. After eating there several times I have decided that the duck brest is my favorite menu item, but for those looking to get out a little cheaper the blue cheese sirloin burger is also superb (at $11) or the med-plate ($6).

Unfortunatly the desserts were a little lacking. The crème brulée, while cooked to perfection, was too sweet, and the coconut sorbet might need an ice pick to penetrate. On the whole, however the desserts are good. I suggest the chocolate torte or hazelnut tart. Also Monday nights can be fun with $5 specialty cocktails and live music.    [23 Jun 2006 11:23:39]
