Terrible Service The food was mediocre while the service was absolutely terrible. Either they were really under-staffed, or they just hired the wrong people. We waited for at least 20 minutes before someone took our orders, and this was after we waved at our waiter 3 times. When we finally got to order, he couldn’t stand still, but kept wanting to leave our table before even taking our orders. I would not mind the wait so much if the waiters did not keep kicking open the kitchen doors making loud bangs every other minute. [06 Nov 2004 16:48:42]

Pretty Good I've eaten here a couple of times, and I thought that the food was pretty good. Nothing stood out, but it seemed better than the average Indian places around here. Nothing really stood out, but all the food was competently prepared. They aren't afraid to make their food hot, which is a bonus, especially as one gets farther from Boston and Cambridge.
All in all, I think India Paradise is a good option for anyone who wants Indian food and happens to be in Newton. [23 May 2005 11:04:19]

Good Food The service is excellent, waiter seated us promptly, brought menu's and Papadums as appetizers. Glasses of water were always full. The food was well cooked and full of flavor, good authentic Indian food. The Chicken tikka is great, so is the Saag and Vindaloo. We finished dinner with Masala Chai, the best I have ever had. I understand that they grind the tea spices fresh! [04 Jan 2008 12:41:32]
