Bland Food, Bad Service This place used to be great, but for the last couple of months food and service have become very poor. The new chicken Annamaria comes with tasty chicken, but the pasta tastes like absolutely nothing. The chicken Alfredo with aspargus tastes like flour...very disappointing. The pizzas are great.
The service, which used to be top notch, now is almost non-existent. Servers were extremely rude, inexperienced and oblivious to our needs on two different occasions. The last time, we complained about our Alfredo to the waiter, who just brushed it off as if it was nothing. There was no apology at all. A complaint written to Bertucci's has not been acknowledged at all. Considering that my husband and I used to go to this restaurant at least twice a week, this whole ordeal is very frustrating and disappointing. [28 Mar 2006 23:27:58]

Today, Sunday, April 23, 2006 we went to Bertucci's in Peabody, MA with a group of people. We asked for the house red wine and were told they had no house, but how was Chianti, and my husband said yes - total price for two glasses $11.98 - not too bad.
I asked for house white wine, and the waiter said no house wine, so I said the cheapest white wine, and the price for two glasses was $14.50. We did not like the bill, but paid it with a tip, but will never return to the Peabody location because of this. Very poor response, and price certainly not the cheapest price. In North Beverly, Bertucci's wine is alot cheaper. What is going on in the Peabody location? [23 Apr 2006 18:16:34]
