I go to the Outback every Friday night, I have always had fantastic service, the food is just absolutely delicious, they have the best steaks and desserts around! Only problem is on a Friday or Saturday night, you might have to wait a while to be seated, but that's only due to the fact that the food is so yummy, everyone comes here for it.    [11 Jun 2002 23:46:25]

Don't Bother
I went here and received average food and poor service. I ordered an appetizer, salad and entree. I got the salad first, and then I received the entree. Salad plates were still on my table when the appetizer arrived. The server asked if we wanted to take the app home and we politely said, "no, thanks." It was a challenge to even get another beer. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I am in the restaurant industry so I tend to be very understanding and rarely complain, but this was just outrageous. Wasted Money
Got to Outback in Randolph, MA at 5pm on Sunday evening. Sat ourselves in the lounge by 5:30, ordered 2 Outback cheeseburgers, and 1 kid's cheeseburger, all medium rare. Took over an hour to get our meals, which were well done without cheese and the children's burger was raw! Waited, they came back well done with cheese, and we kept the kid's burger cooked medium so my niece wouldn't die of starvation. Waited even longer for new burgers which came back finally cooked correctly but they were cold! Kept them for fear of passing out from starvation. Ordered a rare steak to take home, got it home to find out it was well done! Seems impossible huh? Well the worst part was that our waiter who was extremely nice, asked the manager, 'Melissa' to come over and it took her over 20mins. and she still didn't come to the table. We had to go to the hostess post to ask for her again. Then we still had to wait 10 mins. or so. Either way the whole awful ordeal took 3 hours. The manager reluctantly gave us a free bloomin onion and $20 gift certificate after we paid a $50. bill plus tip. No apology, just "I wish I was aware of this problem sooner..." Asinine. Obviously the help in the kitchen needs a good overhaul, and the management needs to shape up!
