Description

Your basic seafood place, right in the heart of Salem's tourist area by the harbor. Decor is minimal. There's both sit-down and cafeteria-style service.

Fresh from the Sea
Derby is one of those places where the news that fried is unhealthy hasn't reached yet. And boy, that's good news for seafood lovers. The seafood here is really fresh - you can buy it to take home in the attached market. The chowder has won awards.

You could do much worse while down in the touristy areas of town. Instead, go for this classic New England eatery.
