Never in My Life
These evening, my wife, my son, my son's friend, his brother and my wife friend all went to the new location of La Vita Mia. The food has always been excellent and continues to be so. This evening the manager told us that we sucked as customers and that it was our fault that we waited 1.5 hours for our entrees to arrive. I have little to say that can be constructive here, so please use your imagination. I loved this place and always dreamed that they would get a bigger place to server their cuisine fans. After tonight, I no longer have a favorite Italian restaurant. I still can't believe that that I was meant to feel bad. And I do. I feel awful writing this opinion but I need to warn you, they don't deserve your business, despite the fact that you deserve their food.    [15 May 2004 21:55:41]

Outstanding Food, Great Value
We went on a weeknight, and there was a short wait (~20 minutes) - well worth it! Scallop appetizer special, with shitake mushrooms and capers, was astounding. Bread came with flavored oil (garlic, herbs, sun-dried tomatoes) for dipping. The entrées were fantastic, and the portions were huge - as one woman said to us, 'nobody goes home empty handed'. Plan on taking some home. We couldn't even get to dessert, which was a shame, as they looked great.    [28 May 2004 16:43:15]

Very Disappointing
My wife and I ate at La Vita Mia 3 or 4 years ago before they expanded. Very friendly service and good food. We ate there again two weeks ago and were very disappointed by both the food and especially the service. The food was very buttery ("gloppy") Italian. Not very tasty. The waitress was rude and inattentive. I do not recommend this place.    [23 Feb 2006 12:40:11]
