Best bar in town
This has to be the all-time best local bar and restaurant in town for the ambiance. It's really nothing special but the local clientele make it so comfortable. There are a lot of regulars and the friendliness and wonderful service by one special bartender make it unique. I'm talking about Michelle Sullivan mostly. She has a way with people here and the service is the best. I've gone there when she is off and it's like serving yourself, or at least trying. She is so attentive and personable that she makes you feel right at home. No wonder the bar is packed every time she works. Won't even go in if she's not there and that goes for quite a few of my friends, as we know her schedule. The food is OK, nothing to write home about but it's the atmosphere that counts. I have made so many friends there over the course of years and relish the satisfaction that there really is a place in Saugus where everybody knows your name!
