Nice Place
Harbor House is a fairly compact location in Scituate Harbor. While the location isn't very "bright and new", it is clean.

Their pizza is very good - a little more crunch to the crust than, say, a Papa Gino's, and a much better pizza than Maria's (another location in Scituate Harbor), whose pizza is too doughy for my taste. The pizza is also about average when it comes to how much grease it has.

The service is friendly and fast. Besides a pizza, their grinders are great. The chicken in their parmesan is juicy, they have a great variety of large steak subs (these are a great value I think), and their BLT is the best.

The prices are just slightly better than average.

On the minus side, twice I have ordered BLT's with "very little" mayo (with emphasis) and still got more than I would have liked. Also, parking at the front of the restaurant is minimal. There is additional parking behind the restaurant which only requires a minimal walk.    [01 Feb 2004 17:34:42]

Harbor House
Harbor is very very good especially the chicken parmesan subs; they have a great taste and they are cooked just right. Harbor House also has great pizza but the only downside is the grease. Its is better than most pizzas but its still is fairly greasy. It also has great steak and cheese subs (personally my brother's favorite). It is nice and fair-priced and all. Harbor House eating conditions are ok but not really good. It is smelly inside. Overall its is a great fast and easy restaurant.    [21 Apr 2005 15:55:12]

Great Place
Harbor House of Pizza is a great place and is extremely busy, so I guess i'm not the only one who thinks so. I like that they cook all the meals to order. They have been in business for 20 years and I have been eating there my whole life. The guys in there know practically everyone who walks in by name; their service can't be beat. The place is spotless, but remember its a casual pizzeria, not the Ritz. No one in town does even a fraction of business of what these guys do. Their pizza is to die for; my parents tease me when they call my dorm room and they are having Harbor House Pizza.    [27 Nov 2005 21:42:01]

Best Pizza Place in South Shore Period
I have lived in the South Shore all my life (mainly marshfield). I ate at Harbor House recently and this pizza place blows away any pizza place I have been to. I strongly recommend their pizza, steaks, and their famous chicken teryaki subs, made a unique way which is to die for...plus their service is incredible.    [04 Mar 2007 00:22:23]

House Steak and Cheese
Best steak and cheese sub on the South Shore (by my vote).
