Service Sucks
I had a very bad experience yesterday (02/13/05). My friend and I went for the buffet and the waiter initially did not escort us to the table. Instead he just pointed us to a table to go and sit. The worst part is, we sat at the table and no one even bothered to come to us to ask if we need something to drink or if we are ok. After this happened, when the payment time came, I asked the person sitting at the cashier's desk what's going on. He gave a smirk which just ticked me off. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone who is particular about service.    [14 Feb 2005 10:50:27]

Great Experience
9/24/05 Just had dinner at the India Cafe. New waitstaff, service was superb: very helpful, polite and caring Made us feel very comfortable. Enjoyed the naan breads - a soft thin bread. We had one filled with chicken/cilantro, one with potatos and peas, and one with lots of garlic. The buffet is great - best rice pudding...yummm.    [24 Sep 2005 21:21:42]

Worst Dining Experience Ever
I have never had a worse meal in my life! The food was horrible, the service was worse (they didn't bring us plates with our meal and then they brought our appetizer after the meal), and the manager is a thief. If you decide to go here, double check your bill. My boyfriend and I went by ourselves and they put an extra 20% service fee on our bill for no reason! We asked if this was a mandatory tip, and he said no, this was in addition to the tip we should be leaving. When we refused to pay his service charge (no where on the menu or anywhere else did it state they could do such a thing) the manager came over and yelled at us. Amazing!!!!!
This restaurant is authentic and amazing. I have visited India and spent months in the Punjab. I often long for Indian Food that is properly spiced and freshly prepared. I found that here. The servers were very pleasant. My server was from Nepal and was very attentive to our tables needs. He assisted me with selecting a vegetarian meal and tolerated me while I decided what I wanted. I also like to add a Golab Jamin in my rice pudding. They actually did this without any extra cost. (This is a plus for me) The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The owner was there and took the time to come to our table to make sure our meal was prepared to our satisfaction. Gr8 Service & Gr8 Food.......
We went to India cafe for Dinner. Food was really good. I tried there Mango Lasi it was like mango Smoothie. They have good soft and fresh breads. Food quantity was really good. Even there buffet is really good.    [06 Aug 2007 13:53:46]

worst restaurant-never ever think of going there
There is nothing much to say about this restaurant. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Some days back I read another review about India Cafe which says that the food is horrible and the service is not good. Frankly speaking, I truly agree with the person who wrote that review.
