Best of Davis Square hangs
This is a cool place. Good simple food, good coffee, some deserts worth having. But mostly great for people watching and being watched. The local community is well represented among the tables, as opposed to Starbucks across the street where tourists hang staring at the Dieselers. When the garage door is open the tables spill onto the sidewalk and the ambiance goes up a notch. I wish they would get rid of the pool tables in back though; sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit.    [07 Jul 2003 13:31:53]

More room, wi-fi: even better than before!
This was always my favorite, and now that they've expanded the seating areas into the back of the building there's more room to sit.

They also have wi-fi available, although it's not free.

The sandwiches and salads are pretty good, but the focus here is coffee and small snacks. In particular, the pumpkin muffins sell out quickly, and the chocolate chunk shortbread cookies are incredible.    [22 Jan 2006 13:13:20]
