Orleans should not be missed Myself and some friends were looking for a casual spot to have some drinks and a quick bite after my best friend's baby shower. We settled on Orleans and could not have been any happier with our decision. It was 10pm on a saturday night and although the place was pretty packed we were able to grab a table instantly. To our delight the kitchen was still serving full dinner. The room although a bit loud, was the type of casual- trendy places we usually prefer. Nice music and a good people watching table by the lounge. We started our meal with mango mojitos which I absolutely loved, however one of our companions found it a "bit minty". Then came our appetizers. We had mussels with lobster meat in a amazing broth full of garlic and fresh basil. We also had an antipasto that was unique and artistically presented with grilled prosciutto wrapped asparagus and assorted cheeses and meats. The plate also contained some unidentifiable spreads that were stunningly delicious, whatever they were! The entrees looked great as did the nightly specials and I cannot wait to bring my boyfriend for a proper dinner. Three Cheers for Orleans! [15 Sep 2005 00:11:52]

Great spot in Davis I've always been very pleased by the bar service, especially the great beer selection and interesting cocktail menu. The food menu is interesting but tries too hard to be part Irish pub and trendy Davis Square resturant. Stick with the pizzas and pub fare for best results. It does get crowded any time the weather is nice and in the evenings and parking is nearly impossible. Overall, a great place. [16 May 2006 10:31:16]
