I just had one of their hamburgers, and upon ordering was told that it could only be served "medium well done" or worse. Foolishly, I ordered it anyway. This hockey puck was inedible. I can conclude only either that they buy such inferior beef that their lawyers insist it be cremated before service, or that they hire fifth-rate cooks whom they don't trust. Takeout Tragedy
A coworker and I ordered salads for lunch. Upon returning to the office, we discovered we had no salad dressing. After calling the manager (who was rude) we picked up fresh salads with dressing. Upon returning to the office the second time, one of the salads did not have cheese. We did call again, but we will not order takeout from Applebee's again.    [25 Jun 2003 14:29:52]

My husband and I go to Applebee's in Sturbridge, MA, all the time. Find the food very good for that type of restaurant and the service is always friendly and prompt.    [05 Jan 2007 18:44:31]
