Overrated
Went there recently with another couple. Two in party ordered their turkey dinner. Appeared to be warmed over turkey and would not recommend it to anyone. Other two dinners were also less than ordinary. For the price, the value is not there.    [17 Sep 2005 19:43:20]

Just returned from the Publick House. The food was wonderful. Two of us had the turkey dinner and it was outstanding. The service was great and for the price I was very pleased    [16 Nov 2006 20:20:08]

Beautiful Dining Room
My husband and I went here in March 2007 and loved it. The rolls/muffins were wonderful and the waiter gave us a bunch to take with us for free because it was late in the evening and they bake them fresh everyday in their bakery. We loved the atmosphere, great colonial decorations. The clam chowder was served in pewter porringer and was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.    [12 Jan 2008 14:14:59]
