Excellent This restaurant is a hidden treasure. Wonderful pasta and desserts.
Please do not tell anyone else about Cafe Il Cipresso because there are a limited number of tables, about 10 or so, and I really don't want to wait on our next visit. [28 Jan 2001 22:04:44]

From being in the hospitality industry for years myself, this is by far one of the finest I have ever found. Not only is the food outstanding, the food is excellent! Get there early because this is sure to be a sell out.
Forget Brooklyn and NYC; Italy has found its challenge at this place. [01 Dec 2001 09:15:23]

Fantastic Food gets an A+; the pasta is all fresh and delicious. Just like a Tratorria in Italia. Get there early or you will wait, but it is worth the wait and then some. [27 Aug 2002 09:53:15]

Better than the North End The food was absolutely wonderful. Everything was so fresh and tasty I can't wait to try all the other dishes. [24 Feb 2003 09:41:39]

Delicious Excellent food. Always so fresh. Everything is always perfect and the portions are just right. If only they were open all the time and had a bigger place. But well worth the wait. [05 Mar 2003 14:15:15]

This Place Is the Best This is the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. It is family owned, and operated, and the waitresses there are very nice. This is actually the only restaurant I have gone to and never had a problem with. They make everything, including the pasta and sauce fresh daily, and every day they have a different soup...also home made. Their soups are awesome - cream of broccoli, cream of asparagus, cream of mushroom - every day is different. The deserts are also awesome. They don't really advertise, because they dont have to. Word of mouth is how most people find out about this place. I went to an Italian restaurant in the North End last week, and the lasagna couldn't even compare to the cafe. Try it! Our Favorite We have been going to "the Cafe" for years, and have enjoyed every mouthful. I think between the eight of us we've tried (and loved) every dish on the menu. All of the pasta is homemade; you can actually see them making it through the door to the kitchen. We like to load our garlic toast with parmesan and pepper, yum. Enjoy! [20 Aug 2003 17:29:25]

Best Italian Food Around We've been eating here for years. Can't beat the food anywhere. Very nice menu and specials are scrumptious. Desserts are not to be missed...along with a hot cup of cappuccino. We very much enjoy every waitress who serves us. The girls are so pleasant and friendly, beyond words. Giorgio (cook) is super. Just an excellent family-run restaurant. Well worth the wait. All in all, just a fine dining experience. [10 Apr 2004 11:14:14]

Pure Italian Gem My family started visiting on the opening week-end. They offered free espresso in an ad and the rest is history. My only regret is moving one hour and 15 minutes away. Less visits but not far enough to keep me away. True family run business and the food spectacular. During the season, Georgio goes hunting for quail, and when it's on the menu, don't pass it up.
