Food Was Barely Warm
Did not find a kids menu item. The chicken was barely warm and rubbery. Burger patty things were barely warm. The pizza was worse than a box type. Signs were crossed on shrimp and fried clams. For all the steam rising the food was barely warm. Birthday meal with my kids. We should have gone for Chinese like we had planned.    [07 Apr 2003 05:13:22]

Breakfast
The breakfast is the best. And should be served more often, like during the week days. I also love the dinner. HomeTown Buffet is the place for me whenever I'm in town.    [07 May 2003 11:53:38]

Dinner
The place rocks. The food is so good. I love the french fries, and their Cesar salad is the best. The rolls are pretty good too. The ice cream is very good. The service is okay. They take the plates really fast. Which I like. The place is good for anyone.    [07 Jul 2003 23:04:55]

Great for Kids
I have a 4 year old and a 16 month old. This place is very nice - I can get a decent meal, and they can eat whatever suits their fancy.

Make no mistake, Hometown Buffet is no gourmet restaurant, but the options are plentiful, and the fixed price includes all courses, including drinks. This makes it cheaper for my kids than eating at McDonald's, and we still can start eating right away, and finish up quickly.

If you're looking for fine dining, go elsewhere, but Hometown has a solid selection of food, and they do a good job of replenishing the buffet tables.    [30 Nov 2005 14:20:35]
