Description

Popular ice cream stand, known for very large portions of its 40 homemade flavors. During the summer, sandwiches and other light fare are served at lunchtime at the outdoor grill.

The stand is part of a complex that includes a pitch and putt golf course, mini golf, bumper boats, and a country store. Live bands play during the summer on Thursday nights and on some weekends.

Kimball Farm has two other branches in Carlisle, MA and Jaffrey, NH.

Craving their ice cream! I usually grab an ice cream cone for the ride home. I have and hour and a half to go to Swanzey, NH and the ride is much more enjoyable with that in my hand. My husband and I also take the children to the Kimball Farm in Jaffery on the weekends. We all love it.    [26 Mar 2003 10:19:56]

Ice Cream Heaven
All I can say is wow! My parents went there as kids. They took me there as a kid. Now I am taking my kids there. Besides having an incredible value in the price, size, and taste of their ice cream, the mini golf is a top-notch course. Kiddy cones would pass as large cones anywhere else. It is a must-stop place when traveling anywhere near exit 31/32 on 495. I dare you to eat the Kimball Special.    [13 Oct 2004 19:27:08]

Ice Cream Heaven
Great, very high fat, ice cream and the service is quick in spite of long lines. It would be great if they carried an ice cream yule log and a 4th of July ice cream cake.    [22 Dec 2005 13:05:12]
