I had been going to Christo's for over 20 years until they were sold a few years ago. The food has gone down hill the prices have gone up and the new owner is a bad businessman.
I went there Tuesday 8-20-06 with my family.
I never got my salad until the meal came - no rolls and butter either. My mother ordered a chef salad and it was full of tuna fish. She complained and did not eat it and they owner still would not take it off the bill. He brought over the salad they said they served her, but it was in a new dish and fixed up nice as if they were going to serve it to someone else.
We also had a coupon for buy one entrée get one free and guess what was free - the lousy chef salad. I had chicken cordon bleu and the cheese was hard inside. The only reason we paid the bill is the owner is such a jerk he would probably stick the waitress with it. What little business they had from us is now gone. We will never go back again.
Actually when we got there the front door was locked and you could not eat in the main dining room. So obviously we are not the only dissatisfied customers. Very very poor. I don't recommend Christo's Stafford St. Worcester to anyone [22 Aug 2006 21:02:55]

Not a bad place to eat My wife and I eat there quite a bit. The food has always been OK. One thing that I do miss is the Lamb Kabob's over Rice. Things at the restaurant have changed after the new owners took over but they seem to be serving a better cut of meat than the previous owners. I did read a review regarding the Chief Saland and it does come with Tuna, Ham and Turkey. It is usually pretty good as that I have had it a few times. [19 Jul 2007 21:04:57]

WILL NEVER GO BACK My friend and I were at Christo's last night (10/1/07) and it was the worst meal my friend has had. She had the Chicken supreme and there was definitely something wrong with the chicken. I took a taste and she was right. I had the baked haddock and scallops and my only complaint was that they put too much bread crumbs on top, probably to hide the small portion. Otherwise, after knocking off the breadcrumbs the haddock and scallops were good but next time I'll go to Coral Seafood. I had the summer mix for vegetable and it looked sick when it was served and I was hesitate about tasting it which I did. I bite, but didn't finish it since it didn't look good, as if they scrapped the bottom of the pot. I have to agree with other reviews I have read, Christo's is going down hill and it will be awhile before I go back there. My friend and I thought the $5.00 credit we received for her meal was not enough. [02 Oct 2007 12:35:19]
