My Favorite Place to Eat in Worcester
Mac's Diner is a great restaurant for people who enjoy eating a good portion of food but don't like to pay for all the nonsense you get at a lot of Italian Restaurants. The atmosphere provides a unique location for a date, a family dinner or a small party of friends. The restaurant also allows BYOB so you can save some money and are guaranteed to drink whatever you'd like without the ridiculous markup most restaurants have. my favorite spot
GREAT food at very reasonable prices. Fresh bread is some of the best I've ever had. The waitstaff is great as well, attentive but laid back at the same time. After just a couple visits to macs, you'll feel like an old friend walking in the door. The atmosphere is the best too. Can't say enough about the place except TRY IT.    [05 May 2008 16:39:14]

Mac's: lawyers & judge flock here for best food, so do college kids!
Mac's was THE diner to go to when I was at Holy Cross College.
All the local lawyers and judges went there because it has great, fast food in enormous proportions, fresh hot bread, etc. College kids went there because the food was close to home, or better. Sausage and broccoli over pasta with cheese, juicy burgers, steaming cups of soup, you name it.
I will go back with my kid just for lunch one day. It's just that good. And hopefully they still grow their tomatoes fresh in large Coffee cans in the back! Yum! And Icon of Worcester and my college years. Do not miss out!
