Tasty This is a beautiful restaurant, in an antique building on historic Route 6a in Yarmouthport, MA. Very busy and friendly waitresses. The sushi room has a japanese garden ajacent to it. Super tasty sushi, tempura, and teriyaki. Specialties include the fish tempura maki roll, panko scallops, tails in the air, tuna carpaccio and tataki dishes. Prices range all over the board. Unacceptably Rude Seated in lounge while waiting for table - no service
Seated at table - No Kirin tonight
Ordered 2 Salmon Teriyaki, 1 chicken Teriyaki, 10 minutes later informed - out of salmon. change salmons to 1 chicken, 1 beef teriyaki
When meals arrive, one is sent to next table (who arrived 10 minutes after we did). Waitress says she'll be right back with the remaining meal. 5 minutes go by, and she returns and explains that her boss had told her to send my wife's meal to the next table. 10 minutes later, my wife's meal arrives. The waitress feels bad and sends a wine.
When leaving I ask to speak to the manager, but am informed by the hostess that she can handle complaints. She can't, and does little more than say that it isn't the waitresses fault.
This had been my favorite restaurant, and we've been going there 10 years, but won't be going back. [03 May 2003 14:42:55]

My Favorite Japanese Restaurant Food is always wonderful, my favorite being the whole fish, and the sushi is so fresh and delicious. If you love sushi, Inaho is the place to go. Don't miss out. [29 Jul 2003 13:30:17]

Is Management Paying Attention? Superb authentic Japanese cuisine and a unique atmosphere make this restaurant a special and popular destination. Too popular, unfortunately, because management has great difficulty maintaining a pleasant dining experience when dealing with hoardes.
One night, we arrived with a reservation (pushed back from 6:30 to 7:30, at the restaurant's request), only to find a line out the door. After working our way up to the hostess, she curtly informed us that she could not seat us, did not know when she could, and advised us to wait in line. We went home, annoyed.
To its credit, the restaurant did send us a gift certificate after we formally complained. We eventually had a delicious meal (on the house), but have not returned since.
To Inaho management: please hire a more experienced maitre d', turn away walk-ins on busy nights, or get more personally involved. Otherwise you will lose loyal clientele, like us. [31 Jan 2004 10:44:43]

I had sashimi, nigiri and tempra. I hope you don't think this is a typical Japanese food. You never can have such a bad taste in Japan. I bet chefs in this restaurant have not had a decent training in Japan. Service was acceptable. [30 Mar 2008 21:55:11]
