The entrance into the restaurant is a tight turn for a wheelchair. The passage leading to the ladies' room is partially obstructed. However, since the mens' room is single-person it can be used by anyone. Neither restroom has rails.

Hunan, also known as Mr. Wang's Hunan is a small, quiet restaurant located on West Street, a few minutes drive outside downtown. The restaurant serves Chinese food and sushi.

A personal favorite
In my family, whenever we don't feel like cooking and consider takeout or delivery, the decision is usually to get Chinese. The choice of restaurant is usually easy. "Mr.Wang's?" "OK".

I prefer sweeter dishes to spicier ones, and the Sesame Chicken is by far one of the best I've tried. Prepared from all white meat, not over-breaded, covered in a sweet sauce, the chicken is as close to my personal perfect dish as it gets. I think it would be fair to say that I have not tried anything at the restaurant that wasn't of good quality. Of particular note is the sushi is everything that sushi should be - fresh, well presented and delicious, as well as quite reasonably priced.

The restaurant itself is small and cozy, and I have never seen it completely filled. However, whenever I was there the kitchen was completely busy with the takeout and delivery orders. On busier nights, delivery may take a while, but the food is well worth the wai    [14 Dec 1999 10:31:49]
