Afghan Kabob Rules! It was the unusual name that first drew me to Afghan Kabob in Baltimore. I was in a trip with my school's Model United Nations team, and we were staying at the Wyndham Inner Harbor. We quickly spread the gospel of Afghan Kabob to the other people in the conference, and soon the small, clean restaurant was filled with high school kids in suits at lunch time.
The food is delicious -- I had the Lamb Kabob -- the salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions was especially good, although I didn't care for the sweet rice. The owner is extremely friendly -- he gave us free rice pudding when our order was late -- and the service is great. The price wasn't bad either: around $8.00 for the lamb, around $6 or $7 for most everything else. It's different, fast, and delicious, and should I ever be in Baltimore again, I'm going straight to Afghan Kabob, baby! [01 May 2003 17:50:55]

Very Disappointing I have no idea how Afghan Kabob's food tastes. I can't seem to get an opportunity to order any. They say they deliver, but on two occasions I have been unable to place a delivery order. First they informed me that their minimum was $25. OK, I thought, that's fair enough. So a few days later I got some other folks to order with me to meet the minimum. I placed the call and was told they were too busy to deliver. I politely but firmly expressed my displeasure, explaining that they should not advertise a service they are unwilling or unable to provide. They hung up on me. They won't be getting a third chance at my business. [06 Nov 2003 12:50:29]

Great Food and friendly service I've been ordering lunches for our office from Afghan Kabob for several years now- the food is always wonderful. I've worked with a number of very finicky vegetarians over the past few years, and this was one of the few places we could order from that always pleased them, as well as those people ordering the beef and chicken and lamb selections. The owner has always been extremely gracious and helpful with my orders, offering me free drinks etc the few times I've had to wait. [11 Oct 2006 11:12:22]
