Description
Draws one of Baltimore's largest lunch crowds and stays busy during the dinner hour rush. The food is simplistic, but tasty. It is also within walking distance from both Baltimore stadiums.

Great for Lunch Had the best cheeseburger I've ever eaten. My wife couldn't even finish her club sandwich. Nice atmosphere, but really busy. [19 Dec 1999 21:50:22]

Don't bother Mediocre food, terrible service (of the 6 of us only 1 of us got what she ordered and she only ordered one thing!), surly management. Yeah, the onion rings are OK, but why have half a page of menu items featuring oysters and then not have oysters? Not particularly kid- or vegetarian-friendly, either. [24 Jan 2005 21:37:30]

We went here just because it was rated as the best onion rings in the country by a magazine. THEY ARE!! They are gigantic and you get loads for a good price. A meal in itself. We had excellent service, too!! [27 Apr 2006 13:33:50]

Coming from the server's standpoint I just recently started waitressing at Burke's. I love the food, the atmosphere is nice and the only thing you have to worry about is a server screwing up your order (sadly, all of the wait staff are not serious about customer service :( ) and local or out-of-town drunks. I would take any of my friends here for a nice lunch or dinner before or after hitting the town. If you want a quiet dinning experience, ask for non-smoking, you'll be seated in our lovely dining room, not too far from restrooms and the kitchen. But far enough to enjoy fellow diners or a nice book or magazine. Also check out the Comedy Factory upstairs. Shows usually run on weekends but I've heard of weekday events as well.
The Italian Sticks are delicious, ask for extra marinara! The Famous Onion Rings are always a hit. Check out the coffee list if you're a 21+ connoisseur, as most of them contain alcohol. The Oysters are superb and the Seafood and Steak items are always top-notch. [19 Jul 2007 14:13:36]
